Cross Country Day 7

Today we drove from Jackson, MS to Mobile, AL- our new home. It was a short day and Shay was very thankful for that! He was such a trooper and is a very well travelled little guy! It was a good trip but we're glad it's over! Now we are on a mission to find a home.

Some things we learned along the way...

1.We would never want to be stranded in the Mojave Desert!!
2. The Grand Canyon really lives up to it's name! It is a MUST SEE!!
3. Everything really is bigger in TX, semi-trucks have no problem passing you on a single lane road there, and we DO NOT want to return to Wichita Falls!
4. Driving cross country is much more fun if you have good friends to visit along the way.
5. Rumble strips were placed on the road for a reason!
6. Driving cross country is a good way to add to your bug collection!

Cross Country Day 6

Today we drove from Dallas, TX to Jackson, MS. Sorry, we didn't take any pictures!

Cross Country Day 5

We stayed the night in Wichita Falls, TX. The picture of Shay below portrays the crazy experience that we had there!

We stopped in Weatherford, TX to pay our respects to Mark's grave. This year marks the 16th anniversary of his passing.

Shay checks out the tractors at the local supermarket.

Can we get this one, Daddy?

We stayed in Arlington, TX that night with our friend Ceci.

We got to have dinner with Natalie and her newest little one, Andrew!

Cross Country Day 3

These ravens were all over the Grand Canyon.

Today we drove along the east rim of the canyon before heading on to Santa Fe!
