Uncle Mikey's Visit

Seamus' Godfather, Uncle Mikey, came to visit last weekend to spend some time with us after returning from his deployment with the Marines. We spent some time around town in Mobile & even made a trip to Pensacola to see the Naval Aviation museum and catch up with one of Mikey's old college roommates. It was a really nice weekend & we're all very happy that Mikey's back home safe & sound.

Seamus went to his friend's 1st birthday party yesterday and they sent a piece of cake home with him. He's hooked now, and can't wait for his 1st birthday and MORE cake!!

Shay's First Swim Lesson

Yesterday Seamus attended his first swimming class at the "Y". He got so excited went he first saw the pool and couldn't wait to get in. He must be part-fish because he was very comfortable in the water. They learned how to kick their feet and paddle with their arms, blowing bubbles (he ended up drinking a LOT of pool water), and getting in and out of the pool.

A Beautiful Day at the Park

The weather was sunny and warmer this past weekend so we took Shay to the park a couple of times. He loves the swings and the slide! Daddy also loved showing him how to take full advantage of the playground. I'm not sure who I enjoyed watching more.

Seamus at 10 Months

We're sorry for the lack of blogging! Where does the time go? Seamus turned 10 months old yesterday...we're almost to one year! Here are a few pictures of him just playing around the house. (Grandpa's, take notice of the outfit! Your little Redskin fan in the making! Go Skins!)
