Dauphin Island Mardi Gras Parade

The Mardi Gras season has officially begun. We went down to Dauphin Island for our first parade of 2009 and a little tailgating. Shay really like seeing all the floats, but after the first one passed by, he learned to duck for cover for the rest. I don't think he understood why they were throwing things at us. He got quite a collection of beads and moonpies!

Christmas 2009

We've fallen behind again on our blogging! December went by way too fast and here we are almost at the end of Jan! Here are some pictures from Christmas to catch up...

Daddy was away on a trip for his birthday, so we had a late celebration. Happy 30th, Daddy!!

We attended the downtown Mobile Christmas parade one Saturday with our friends the Barklages.

We went down to Bellingrath Gardens during the week of Christmas for the Magic of Christmas in Lights. Shay LOVED the lights! He looks a little tuckered in this picture.

It's Christmas morning and Santa was very good to Seamus. This new bike was the first thing Shay saw when he came out.

He loves to help Mommy clean and is fascinated by the vacuum cleaner. Santa brought Shay his own to use.

You missed a spot, Daddy!

Seamus won't appreciate this picture when he's in Highschool. He loves to try on Mommy's high heels and walk around the house.

Daddy built Shay a "Little Helper" platform with his new tools. Now Shay can help with meal prep etc. He loves being up high so he can supervise.
