A Visit To The Neighborhood Playground

Daddy got home from his trip to El Paso!! We missed him a lot while he was away, and now he's home so we can play!! We went to the park behind our house last night...

I wasn't too sure about the swings...

...you have to hold on tight!

I liked riding the see-saw...

...and the little duck.

Dad and I had a great time on the slide!

People say we look alike. What do you think?

My parents can get a little crazy...

...but it makes my life a lot of fun!!

Seamus 5 Months

Seamus turned 5 months on Sept. 10th. His little personality is coming out more and more each day. He now thinks it's funny to roll over on his belly when we are trying to change his diaper! Today he figured out how to give Mommy big sloppy kisses on the cheek. He eats all of his veggies, however squash and peas are definitely not a favorite. He is starting to use his knees to scoot around the room- there just might be some crawling in the near future!

A Visit From Nonna & Grandpa

Nonna & Grandpa Hadro came down to Mobile to visit this past week. As you can see, Seamus LOVED the extra attention.

We read stories...

...and Grandpa always has that magic touch!

On Tuesday, we took a trip over to Pensacola Beach. We stopped at a family favorite, Peg Leg Pete's, for lunch. Seamus was as good as gold after seeing this sign!

Grandpa and I hung out with ol' Pete.

Ahh, a great day at the beach!

Come on, Nonna, let's go swim!!

Come on, Mom, we're wasting time!
Seamus wasn't too sure about the water this time. The noise of the waves scared him off, so we hung out on shore and watched Nonna and Grandpa play in the waves.

Blackwater Boating

It started out as a beatiful day on the Blackwater River with the VanderWoudes on Patrick & Jill's new boat.

Joseph got in some great tubing!

Of course, Seamus enjoyed Jill's attention.

Then the afternoon thunderstorms rolled in...

...and Patrick made for the docks.

Alabama Exploration

A couple of weekends ago, we decided to take a break from the house and do a little exploring. We drove down to Dauphin Island and then took the ferry across to Gulf Shores. We stopped in Foley to have dinner at Lambert's "The home of throwed rolls". Yes, they actually throw the rolls to you across the room. If yo mama always told you not to play with your food, make a trip to Lambert's sometime.

The boys go check out the fort.
Shay liked watching the boats pass. (He also liked being OUT of his carseat!)
