Fall 2010
Happy Halloween!! It has been busy in the Hilleary house for the past few months (and we will post pictures of our adventures asap!) Here are a bunch of pictures from the past couple of weeks- Blogger is having some trouble so they are a little out of order. The kids got to visit the pumpkin patch a couple of times- one of them was for Shay's preschool fieldtrip. They had a great time running all over the place and we made it out of there with two very large pumpkins to carve- this meant lots of messy work for Daddy, but lots of yummy seeds to roast! For Halloween this year, Shay wanted to be a firefighter and he made a very handsome one! With this new fascination, we have gotten him a few books on the subject matter and he just eats it up! He can tell you all about the different vehicles used to extinguish fires, from Hook and Ladder trucks, to Helitankers, to Airport Crash Rescue Vehicles. If you ask him, he will tell you that he is going to be a firefighter when he grows up and he is going to drive the Pumper truck. Malia really loves ladybugs and when asked what she was going to dress up as, she would tell you "Lady-Bug!" Unfortunately, we couldn't find a costume in her size, so she went as a bumble bee instead. She was a super cute little bee! Daddy dressed up as a Beekeeper, and they were quite a pair!!
