This year, Shay & Malia were picked to play the parts of Saint Joseph & Mary in the Nativity Play at our church here in Ecuador.
Malia was very excited that one of her baby dolls was going to get to be Jesus for the play; initially she had some reservations though since according to her, all of her dolls are girls. Shay was just really excited that he got to have a staff as part of his costume.
In case you're wondering, Shay's line is "Mary, I know you're tired. Let's rest at the inn." Also, Malia does have a pillow under her robe during the first part of the video, Shay helped her remove it as baby Jesus was "born."
