Merry Christmas from Ecuador! We've had a very busy Advent season and it's crazy to think Christmas is already here! This is a special Christmas for us as we are anxiously awaiting the birth of Our Savior and the birth of Hilleary #3!
Shay and Malia were asked a long time ago by Mr. Peter Maynard (a lovely British gentleman who heads up the Catholic community at the Dominican chapel) to play the parts of Mary and Joseph in the Nativity play on Christmas Eve. Thanks to Grandma Hilleary, they really looked the part with their costumes. After the crazy few weeks leading up to Christmas, it was nice to enjoy a quiet Christmas Day with just our immediate family.

It has become tradition for Daddy to give Mommy and Malia matching gifts every year. This year it was our necklaces. The pendants are encased butterfly wings!
