A few have asked me about whether or not there would be Christmas trees in Ecuador. The answer is yes. There are actually a lot of farms that we saw closer to Cotopaxi Volcano during our trip to the hacienda. They cut them and then bring them to various lots around the city to sell. But even within the city, shortly before Christmas, we started noticing people's own yards with small tree lots. If you could look past the sites of people washing and hanging out their laundry, it may have looked a little like the Christmas tree farms back in the states....right??
